Ovosuite has been working on a number of improvements and updates to the system. Below is a breakdown of what our developers have been up to!

Contact List Added
You can now manage your contacts!. Are all your contacts within Outlook or Goldmine? Not a problem. You can now import them to be used within ovosuite. Add and manage contacts that are intergrated within the calendar and minute maker.

Forum Email Notifications Added
Subscribe to an email thread or board?  You now receive email notification everytime a new post occurs.

Calendar Event Types Added
Create events within your calendar and associate them against an event type. You can filter your calendar view, based on event types. The administrator can create new event types, as well as associate a graphic against each event type, so you can easily and quickly identify the event type.

Calendar Day View Improved
When viewing your calendar, via the day mode, it now displays events in a block style. Easily identify overlapping events, and plan your day or week more efficiently.

Administer Portal Improved
Usabilty has been improved for the administrator, whilst creating portal layouts for users.  Now you can click a quick link, "Administer Profiles" which will take you straight to administration mode. Efficiency and usabilty has been increased for the administrator.

Minute Maker Improved
Members that are invited to a meeting, via the minute maker, now receive email notification of the agenda, as well as having the event posted to the calendar for the meeting date and time, with details.

Portal Height Configuration Added
Need a portal window to be a particular height? Now you can drag the portal window height, and set it for your own resolution!

So what is a minute maker, and what can it do?

The minute maker is a module that now ships with ovosuite. Just like the calendar or forums, the minute maker is a module that runs within ovosuite. But what does it do, well here is a breakdown of the features that the minute maker has :

• Create Agendas
• Invite members to meetings
• Print Agendas
• Add Minutes
• Record Absentees
• Search Minute History
• Action items to be followed up on, at next meeting

No longer will people in a meeting be saying "Haven't we covered this before" or "I didn't have access to the agenda". With minute maker, people can print out agendas ahead of time. Meetings will appear on peoples calendars, as well as items that need action taken.

Minute maker is not only the first online meeting/agenda service, it is also integrated into ovosuite, thus delivering more power than a standalone minute recording application.
